Choosing an option the school offers
How you choose a variant when the school asks for a choice, and what happens after you confirm.

How it works
When the school offers several variants to choose between, you choose and confirm yourself, without getting in touch with the school. The confirmed variant is recorded for you straight away and, if it has a price, a charge is issued for it.
What a choice is. The school can offer a set of variants (each variant is a plan) under one name. The choice is "one variant", "up to a number of variants" or "as many as you like". Above the variants it reads which: "Choose one variant", "Choose up to N variants" or "Choose the variants you want".
Who sees it. You see a choice if you or your child is in at least one of the groups it is offered to, or if the school offered it to the whole school. If you have children in your profile, the choice is made separately for each child (under "For [name]") and you don't choose for yourself. If you have no children, the choice is for you.
How to choose. Choosing has two steps, and nothing is recorded by the first tap:
- Tap a variant. When only one can be chosen the variants have round marks, otherwise square ones. Each variant shows its price, how often it is paid and, for a pack, how many classes it includes per period.
- A panel "You're choosing" appears under the variants with your pick and the total. Press Confirm choice to record it, or Cancel to back out.
Once confirmed, the choice is final. You can't change or undo it. The card shows "Your choice is confirmed and can't be changed." and a Contact the school link. Only the school can change your choice. If the school chose for you, it reads "Set by the school." When the choice allows more variants and you haven't reached the limit, it reads "You can pick N more variants." and you can confirm more.
The charge. If the variant has a price, confirming issues a charge to you, which is not paid automatically. It appears under To pay in the Payments tab, and under the chosen variant it reads that an amount is due. Paying is a separate step, you are not sent to payment straight away. The confirmed variant also appears under My plans with a "You picked this" label.
Deadline. New choices have no deadline: they accept answers until the school closes them. Older choices, however, may still carry a deadline set earlier. Then, next to the choice, it reads "choose by [date]" (the whole day is included), and in the last 48 hours the label turns red: "closes in N hours". After such a deadline, or when the school closes the choice, you can no longer choose: the choice disappears from Your choices, while variants you already confirmed stay.
Notifications and reminders. When the school opens a choice for you, or reminds you that you haven't chosen yet, you get a "Plan Choices" notification that opens the Payments tab. A number next to Payments also counts the choices waiting. When you open the school's calendar and have a choice to make, it also appears in a window.
Good to know
You can't change a confirmed choice yourself. If you made a mistake, contact the school.
Only choices you can still make are shown. The ones you have made are under My plans.
You can turn these notifications off in the notification settings of your profile.

The card has the name of the choice, a line saying how many variants you may pick and, if there is a deadline, a label with it. If the choice is for several people (you and children, or several children), there is a separate "For [name]" block for each. While someone has no confirmed variant, the card has a brighter outline.

Only on older choices that still carry a deadline. Shows "choose by [date]", with the whole day included. In the last 48 hours the label is red and reads "closes in N hours". It is not shown if the choice has no deadline (new choices have none), or once everyone on the card has chosen. After the deadline the choice closes.

The whole card is one button: tapping it selects it, tapping again deselects it. It shows the name, the description, the price and how often it is paid ("One-off" or "Every N days, weeks or months"), and for a pack also "N classes per period". If the school gave you a discount, the regular price is crossed out and the reason is written below. You can't pick more variants than allowed.

After you press it the choice is recorded for the person it is for and the card turns to its locked state. If the variant has a price you see a message that your charge is in "To pay", otherwise that the choice is confirmed. It does not take you to payment. The school is notified of your choice.

In a green panel "Your choice" (or "Your choices") the confirmed variants appear with a padlock. Under them it reads "Your choice is confirmed and can't be changed.", or "Set by the school." if the school set it. Next to the text is a Contact the school link: it opens an email to the school's owner or, if there is no email, the school's page.

Gives you the freedom to join a plan the school opened for self-service.
Plans the school opened for people to join themselves that are not part of a choice. Each person has their own block (for a child it reads "For [name]"). Plans you are already on come first, under "My choices", and the rest are in a foldable "Other options" folder with a count. Here Pick records straight away, with no confirmation step, and shows a message. The label on a plan tells how you got on it: "You picked this", "Added by the school" or "Via your group".

Takes you off the plan, whoever put you there (you, the school or your group). If the plan has an unpaid charge, you are first asked "Unpick this plan?": the unpaid charge will be cancelled, while anything already paid stays paid, with no refund. You confirm with Unpick. With no unpaid charge it happens at once. A confirmed variant in a choice can't be unpicked.

Puts the choice in front of you where members usually land.
When you open the school's calendar and have a choice you haven't made yet, a window opens with the choice itself, which you can make right there. The Later button closes it until the next session; a new choice brings it back. After you confirm, the window is titled "Choice made" with the text "Thank you! Your choice is confirmed." and shows the locked choice. Done closes it, and when there is a charge to pay, Go to payment also appears and takes you to the Payments tab. The window waits: you first have to accept the updated Classes terms and the school's contract, if there are any.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change or undo my choice?
No. After **Confirm choice** the choice is final and only the school can change it. Use **Contact the school**.
Did I pay when I confirmed the choice?
No. Confirming issues a charge if the variant has a price. You pay it separately from **To pay**.
The choice disappeared from "Your choices". Why?
Either you made the choice (the confirmed variant is under **My plans**), or the deadline passed, or the school closed the choice, or you reached the limit of variants. If you think it's a mistake, contact the school.
I can't see the choice I was told about.
A choice is only shown to members of the groups it is offered to, and only while it accepts answers. Also check that you have the right school selected.
