The school's page
What you see on a school's page as a member or as a visitor.
Ask ClassyThis is the way into everything about one school: its groups, the schedule, announcements, lessons and your payments to it.
At the top is the school's header, and the school's pages are tabs. Which tabs you see depends on whether you are a member of the school. You are a member when you or one of your children belongs to at least one group.
- A visitor (not a member yet) only sees Groups, to browse the groups and enrol.
- A member sees Calendar, Announcements, Payments, Lessons and Groups.
The tabs are in the side menu under the selected school. On a phone the main tabs are also in the bottom bar; for members Groups opens from the side menu. A tab bar under the header is only shown to the school's staff.
When you open a school you land on the first tab you can access: Calendar for a member, Groups for a visitor. The notifications about a choice open Payments directly. A number appears next to Payments when there is a choice waiting for you.
If the school has uploaded a contract, members have to accept it before using its pages. If the school can't be loaded, you are taken back to the page for finding a school.
Good to know
The school's settings are only for its staff and live in the admin area, not among the school's tabs. Members don't see them.
Staff who can edit the school see a Manage link in its header that leads to its settings.

On a computer you see the banner, logo, name, short description and the number of members. On a phone the header is more compact: just the logo, name and short description. The header is read-only: the name, description and banner are changed in the admin area.

Only visible on a computer and only to staff who can edit the school or manage events or groups (the owner always sees it). Opens the school's settings in the admin area.

Lets you switch between the parts of the school you can access.
The tabs are rows in the side menu under the selected school. On a phone the main tabs are also fixed to the bottom of the screen (for members without Groups, which is in the side menu). The tab bar under the header is only for the school's staff. Only the tabs you can access are shown.

Shows when and where the sessions that concern you take place.
Only visible to members. A member sees the events whose audience includes them, for example those for the groups they or their child belong to. When you have a choice you haven't made yet, a window with it also opens here.

The choices waiting for you, what you owe the school and which plans and packs you have there.

Shows the choices to make, your pending charges with the school, the plans you are on and the credits left in your packs.
Only visible to members, even an owner or staff member enrolled as a member sees their own charges here, not the school's finances. A number next to the tab's name shows how many choices are waiting for an answer. The tab shows even when the school doesn't accept online payments; the Pay button isn't shown then.

Lets you read what was covered in sessions and what teachers have shared with you or your child.
Only visible to members. If you enrolled yourself and children, there are buttons above the list to pick the person, Me and your children's names. Each lesson is a card with a title, date, group and number of attachments; cancelled sessions carry a Cancelled label. Shared notes are alongside (above the list on a phone). If the school hasn't switched lessons on, you see "Lessons aren't enabled for this class yet."

Visible to everyone, including visitors who aren't members yet.

Tells you the school can't be used right now.
The school stays locked until its subscription is paid. The window has no close button, the only button, Go back, takes you to the page for finding a school. Group pages in an inactive school don't open either.
This has nothing to do with your own payments to the school. If you think it's a mistake, contact the school or us at the email shown in the window.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I only see the Groups tab?
The other tabs are for members. Once you or your child is accepted into one of the school's groups, **Calendar**, **Announcements**, **Payments** and **Lessons** appear too.
