Finding a school
The page for searching for a new school by name.

How it works
Lets you find a school by its name, so you can browse its groups and enrol.
The page is only for finding a new school. Schools you or your children already attend, and the ones you run, are not here: you reach them from the school picker at the top of the side menu.
To open the page, tap the selected school at the top of the side menu (under its name it reads "Switch organisation") and choose Search organisations. If you are not in any school yet, the app brings you straight here after you log in.
Without a search the page shows the message "All classes & organisations are private". Results only appear once you have searched for something.
Search only finds active schools whose name contains what you typed. Capital letters don't matter and spaces at the start or end are ignored. Results are shown 6 per page.
Good to know
If the school sent you an invite link, it is quicker to open that link directly, it takes you straight to the group.
A school that is currently inactive does not appear in search results.
The schools you attend are in the school picker under Organisations I attend, and the ones you run under My organisations.

It is in the menu that opens when you tap the selected school at the top of the side menu. Next to it is New organisation, and above them are your schools in two groups: My organisations and Organisations I attend.

Type the name or part of it and press the Search Classes button or Enter. Search ignores capitalisation and any spaces at the start or end. Only active schools are shown. Submitting an empty box clears the results. Every new search starts from the first page.

Lets you see every school found when there are more than 6.
On a computer, below the results it reads "Showing X to Y of Z results", with arrows and page numbers on the right; when there are many pages some numbers are replaced by "...". On a phone there are two buttons instead, previous and next page. The current page is kept in the address, so you can come back to it.

Explains how to reach a school.
Under the message it reads "Access is invitation-only. You can search by the exact name of a class or organisation, or follow the invite link that was shared with you." and shows two tags: "Search by name" and "Use your invite link". The message disappears once you search.

Helps you recognise a school at a glance and open its page.
The card shows the school's banner and logo, its name, a short description and how many members it has. The whole card is a link, tapping it opens the school's page.

Keeps you out of school pages until you complete your personal details, because you can't enrol without them.
The window shows over the schools page and over every school's page. The Become Candidate button takes you to your profile to fill in your details. Closing the window takes you back to the home page.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I find the school I'm looking for?
Search only shows active schools and matches against their name. Check the spelling or try a shorter part of the name. If the school sent you an invite link, use that instead.
Where are the schools I am already enrolled in?
Not on this page. Tap the selected school at the top of the side menu: under **Organisations I attend** are the schools where you or one of your children is a member of a group. If your request is still waiting for approval, the school won't appear there until it is approved.
