The Lessons tab for parents and members

Where parents and members read the school's published lessons, materials and shared notes.

Step by step

    Open the school's page and choose the Lessons tab.

    If you have several children, pick the child with the buttons at the top.

    Tap a lesson to read it and open its files.

How it works

Brings together what was covered in sessions, the attached materials and the coach's notes about you or your child.

The Lessons tab on the school's page is only visible to group members, you or a child on your profile. Staff who aren't members don't see it.

The top says Published write-ups and shared notes for the classes you're on the roster for. If both you and children, or several children, are in groups, buttons above the list switch between them (Me, the children's names).

The left side is the list of lessons, newest first; more load as you scroll. The right side (on a phone, above the list) is Shared notes.

You only see published lessons, and only for sessions of groups the selected person is a member of, whether or not they were marked present. Drafts aren't shown.

Good to know

If the school edits a lesson after publishing it, you see the latest version.

The same lesson can also be read from the calendar, in the session's Lesson & notes section.

Lessons tab

The lessons tab on the school's page.

Takes you to the lessons and notes for your groups.

Only shown if you or a child on your profile is a member of at least one of the school's groups.

Me / child switcher

Buttons for choosing whose lessons and notes you see.

Lets a parent with several children see each child's lessons separately.

Only shown when there is more than one person: Me (if you are a group member yourself) and one button per child who is a group member. If a child's name can't be loaded, the button reads Child 1, Child 2 and so on. The first is selected by default.

Lesson card

One row in the lessons list.

Shows briefly which session the lesson belongs to.

Contains the session title (or Untitled session), the group, the date and the number of attached files (3 files). If the session was cancelled there is a red Cancelled badge. Tap the card to open the lesson.

Lesson window

The full lesson text and its attachments.

Lets you read the lesson and download the materials.

It is titled with the session's name. Below that it says Published …, then the lesson text and the Attachments list, tap a file to open or download it. If the lesson can't be shown it says This lesson hasn't been published yet.

No lessons yet empty state

Shown when there are no published lessons for the selected person.

Tells you the school hasn't published lessons for your groups yet.

Below the title it says Published lesson write-ups for your classes will show up here. If lessons aren't enabled for the school, it says Lessons aren't enabled for this class yet. instead.

Shared notes panel

The notes the school's staff have shared about the selected person.

Lets you read the coach's feedback, progress, advice, remarks.

Each note shows its text and below it Shared by staff · date. You only see notes a staff member deliberately shared, their private notes stay hidden. With none it says No notes have been shared with you yet. When a note is shared you get a notification.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see a lesson for yesterday's practice?

The school hasn't published it yet, or the session isn't for the selected child's group. Check that the right child is selected at the top.
