A member's attendance history

How often a member or child comes and which sessions they were last at, in their details in the users list.

Ask Classy

Gives you a quick view of how the member actually attends sessions, without digging through the monthly grid for each month.

Open a user from the users list in the admin dashboard. In their details, in the Attendance section, you see the attendance rate, the number attended and absent, and under Recent classes up to the eight latest sessions they were marked at. Each row has the title, date and time and an Attended or Absent badge. If the member answered the session invite beforehand, there is a small icon next to the badge: Had said they would come or Had said they wouldn't come.

The rate and counts cover every session with a recorded mark, not only the ones shown. When a child is selected you see the child's attendance, and when the parent is selected, the parent's own. Every staff member can see it, but only for the sessions of groups they have access to (the tooltip on the heading says so).

Good to know

If no attendance has been recorded yet, it says No attendance marked yet.

Sessions where attendance was not marked count neither as attended nor as absent.

On this screen

Attendance section in a user's details

The block with the attendance rate and the recent sessions.

Shows the member's or child's actual attendance.

It is in the user's details in the users list. At the top is the rate with a bar, green for attended and red for absent, and below it the recent sessions.

Attendance rate

{{rate}}% attendance

The share of sessions the member was marked as attended.

Gives one number for how regularly the member comes.

Worked out from every session with a recorded mark: those attended divided by those attended and absent. On the right are the attended and absent counts.

Recent classes

Up to the eight latest sessions with a recorded mark.

Shows what the member most recently attended or missed.

The newest are at the top. Each row has a title, date and time and an Attended or Absent badge. A calendar icon shows the member's earlier answer: green Had said they would come, red Had said they wouldn't come. With no answer there is no icon.

No attendance marked yet message

No attendance marked yet.

Shown when the member has no marked sessions.

Tells you the history is empty.

Attendance is recorded in the session panel, see Attendance panel. If you know sessions were marked, you may not have access to their groups.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I see fewer sessions than a colleague?

The history only shows sessions of groups you have access to. A staff member limited to their own groups doesn't see the member's attendance in other groups.
